The Commissioner for Works Prof. Eno Ibanga today while on a routine tour of project sites made a stopover at Ikot Abidang, Onna Local Government Area.
The site which spans the 9.5 kilometer road and ends at the river bank with a Jetty is a project initiated by the Udom Emmanuel Administration; professionally handled by an indigenous construction company, Bernest Technical Services (BTS).
The Project Engineer, Engr. Victor Ekaette took time and gave a breakdown of quality and stages of work from inception to completion. The Hon. Commissioner, satisfied with what he saw, assured the contractor of government resolve in release of funds and assured the contractor that jobs around the state will completed.
The MD/CEO of Bernest Technical Services Elder Ben Udobia informed the Works Boss that the project shall open up the area economically as the Jetty shall berth vessels since it emptys into the atlantic ocean and has the capacity of serving not just the area but the entire state.
In his response, the Hon. Commissioner congratulated BTS on a job welldone and harps on the need for indigenous contractors to up their game in other compete favorably with other companies in the country.


This a good one from BTS and shows that what foreign companies can do our son can do even better and faster.
